The Stéphane Hessel bookshop has chosen literature, in the broadest sense, as a resistance tool, by specialising in the topics related to memory transmission, social issues, citizenship and cultural dialogue. The bookshop, managed by the Territoires de la Mémoire non-profit association offers visitors to La Cité Miroir a selection of titles related to the schedule. Its main departments are the international history of the struggles for freedom, the Second World War, cultural dialogue and the history of social struggles.

The Stéphane Hessel bookshop is also a means to support the projects conducted at La Cité Miroir, which benefit from all sales profits. So, please do not hesitate to order any books that you may require.
